The Exorcist Penelope "Penny" Emessero, the meek, shrinking violet partner to the incredibly loud, hammy, and flamboyant Drust. Wields the Phantom Arm Undine, a large, ornate pistol that fires energy shots. These shots are imbued with curses, and strip control over normally involuntary or instinctual body functions or actions away from those struck. Undine's name is etched along the bottom margin of the barrel.

The only daughter of a wealthy Novin house, Penny was kidnapped and buried alive by an unknown party that seemed to have been targeting her family. Eventually, she was able to claw her way to freedom, but not easily, as she nearly passed out a number of times, and almost asphyxiated to death. The incident left her scarred, and afraid of most people, especially men.
