Medium: Ink on paperThe inspiration behind this picture was the idea that golf is so popular in Japan. I had this printed in the magazine "Japanophile," and showed ti to some friends. A fellow I used to do volunteer work with had no idea that golf was popular in Japan, because he didn't know of any Japanese pro golfers!

I wonder if I took up golf early on would it mean using the katana would be easier. They sure seem to mimic each other. Foot placement, hip motion, elbows, grip.

Yeah, It came to me while trying a short stroke cut and going slow at it. I was like having to be mindful of so many movements and positions. One little thing as off and the cut was off.
