I may as well upload some work I did for class this summer break.
Pre-COVID, when I was still at UMD and my girlfriend went to school in New London, CT, we would take the long train journey every weekend to see each other. Since Washington Union Station is the terminus of the line, I would help her with her bags onto the train a few minutes before it departed, and as other people boarded, we would say our good-byes as though no one was watching.
