Description
While Liethan ground forces failed to make significant progress in the opening of the Black Wars, the Marine de Liethe fought successful campaigns across the seas of Pariter, in part thanks to the mighty Élanion. The E.31, designed as a subsonic medium bomber to be deployed from Liethe's large aircraft carriers, had become a crucial piece in the Marine's offensive campaigns. The aircraft thrived especially in low-level, high-speed raids, in which formations of Élanions would strike at enemy fleets and escape as swiftly as possible. The E.31, affectionately known as 'Le Bosse' (The Hunchback) for its ungainly appearance on the carrier deck, contributed many successful years of aerial assault to the Marine de Liethe, yet was retired rather quickly once the Black Wars were over, and the world retired once again into peace.
