Description
This was an assignment for my Illustrations class. We were told to draw our shoe, then merge it with an animal. The parts of animal were drawn in color, and the parts of the shoe in gray scale.My shoe was a Sperry, and my animal was an angler fish.

This was a huge challenge, as I really had to think creatively, rather than just copy a reference. I am very satisfied with the outcome though.

Cool one! When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was some kind of fish I didn't know about (I didn't know what "sperry" was). I like that it kinda resembles both a shoe and a fish, but it's hard to say it's one or another or none of them.
