Okay, by now you are wondering what the??? 
Not Broo's normal stuff.........WELL, my step daughter was watching me doodle on the way to our vacation destination.............she said, draw me Davey from the band AFI................
alright I'll try I said....................did most of the intial sketching in the truck hauling down the road as a passenger of course!!! 
Then finished it at our campsite.......used her CD label insert as a ref and changed it around a bit...........
Mechanical pencil and my trusty pink pearl..............Also have another pic I am STILL working on, will show ya when I'm finished!!!

davey havok is the lead singer for a band called AFI, a flame within as it is really called... but nobody could remember it, so it got shortened,lol.
used to work as a stage manager for a punk club in the san fransisco bay area called gilman. the band got it's start there... along with another band that always plays with afi called tiger army. used to run into davey all over the place... even at the death guild in san fransisco at times.
so there is your info... tell your step daughter you have talked to someone who used to stage manage them,lol.

origionally the band was called a fire within, but it did'nt catch on as well, so it was changed to a fire inside.i am talking really early days, before davey wore makeup lol... you can always ask him about why he didnt bring the donuts... that should get you a startled look, hehe

I know a bit about the early days... Well, basically I know they started out playing at school in what Smith referred to as 'The Tri'... And none of them could play instruments... And that Mark and Geoff were in the band before Hunter and Jade... And Vic at the very beginning... And a bit or ramble about the progression from Answer That.. to DU.

I didn't know who he was either, til my step daughter eagerly informed me.............he sings "screamo" type music or something...............I matted it and framed it for her last night, she went to sleep with it propped up on a chair next to the bed so when she opedned her eyes he was right there...........
