Description
Surprisingly enough, each time a star dies, another is reborn. I used a couple of basic elements in this picture, though they may need explaining.

1) I see the stars as a symbol of death and rebirth since one is always replaced by another.

2) The sun's setting is also a symbol of death and rebirth. When the sun disappears, the moon and stars awaken to take its place.

3) Humans are like caterpillars roaming the earth, until their death. Dying allows them to spread their wings like butterflies and travel to the heavens to take their place amongst the stars.

4) The cliff represents the point of no return. Once we leave this earth, we will never return as the person we once were. We will only return, when our time comes, to participate in new life experiences and to learn from new mistakes.
