I don't which I'd rather do -- shoot in that building or shoot Katerina.

Sublimate! I had already baptized it an angel in the opera even before seeing the title! Very beautiful composition.

Wow. I saw this image on the recent uploads and was blown away! Everything works! Beautiful model, her eyes closed and the angle of her head, the top having vertical stripes and being just sheer enough to know the shape of your model's body, and the lighting gives a perfect look to her face with just enough to go through the outfit to accentuate her figure. LOVE IT!

Thank you so much for this comment, I really appreciate it!
I'd add that I like visual associations of the pose and S-like curves of architectural details

You're quite welcome! hm A term I've never heard. What do you mean by S-like curves?

endegor In reply to DevilishSaintNY [2010-12-10 12:31:02 +0000 UTC]

S-like curves in composition of pictures are pleasant to human eye, they brings additional dynamics and motion (ex.: [link] ). In this photo one can see such curves in stair railing and in in contours of models' hands and body

Ahhhh yeah putting her in the corner of the banister makes it work more plus the light poles and staircases. But I think without the dim lighting you don't get the full effect even with the S-curves. I've been trying to figure out a term for my first comment and finally got it: silhouette. The outfit with the sheerness of it, vertical stripes and the lighting gives a perfect silhouette of her body's curves so we don't even need to see her body to know how it looks without the outfit. The subtlety of it is perfect.
