Trivia:
- The Sylphians do not possess hollow bones, but instead possess powerful wings and a specialized organ than allows them to manipulate the air around them and create powerful wind currents around their bodies.
- This is similar to the Kushala Daora from Monster Hunter.
- The Sylphians and their culture are based on the Air Nomads and their culture from Avatar.
- Sylphians come from the same planet as Geochelone Aerios, or the Aldabrans, and are close neighbors and friends, acting as guardians to the Aldabrans against any hostile intruders that invade their home planet.
- Sylphians compete and participate in lots of aerial-based activities, creating things like sky games or sky dancing and are often seen as graceful and very active.
- Like the Geochelone Aerios, the Sylphians are non-violent and prefer to spend their time gathering food, debating philosophy with each other, playing sky games, sky dancing, attempting to break their own flight records, and meditating.
- The Sylphians are omnivores, yet they all choose to have a vegetarian diet and will typically only eat fruits, berries, vegetables, nuts, seeds, grains, and any other foods that are not meat.
- The Sylphians have great respect for the other species of their planets whether they be sentient like the Geochelone Aerios, or even the animals such as the Sky Bison or the Winged Lemurs.
- If a Sylphian were to master all of their aerokinetic arts, beat the Sylphians' fastest speed record, or create a new aerokinetic art, they would be given tattoos on their heads, backs, arms, and legs to show their mastery over the wind.
- Raava’s current host is a Sylphian named Aang who was raised in an Aldabran temple village along with Geochelone Aerios and other Sylphians with a Sky Bison companion. The Hi-Sasori Firelord Sozin knew that the new Avatar would be a threat to his plans and as such, he sent scouts to search for the latest host of Raava. One of the scouts found Aang on Aldabra and informed his superiors of the latest Avatar. The Hi Sasori warriors brought the Sylphians down to half their population, seemingly killing the Avatar.
- Unbeknownst to them though, Aang had previously run away from his village with his Sky Bison, Appa, and found a space ship and used it to escape, but not knowing how to pilot the vehicle, he accidently ended up sending himself to one of Thalos 3's moons at lightspeed, crashing on the planet and into its freezing waters. Raava made an attempt to save her host by taking over his body and freezing him and Appa in a glacier, putting them in a hibernative state inside.
- After the Sylphian Genocide, the surviving Sylphians we're forced to flee from their villages and remained hidden for decades, slowly losing their culture and spirituality to the Hi-Sasori's constant hunts of the Slyphian survivors.
- After the Hundred-Year War, Aang would revisit Aldabra and find the many surviving Sylphians, but was disappointed by how they had lost their way of life. Aang would help to rehabilitate the Sylphian culture, even creating the Sylphian Acolytes, Sylphians who had been influenced by their old ways of life enough to help spread it, to do so. Eventually, the Sylphian society was back to the peaceful way it was before.
- Ben would meet Aang and train under him as Wind Shrill, which was easy considering he had aliens such as Terraspin and BIO-Element Le to incorporate into Wind Shrill’s fighting style.
- When Ben(as Wind Shrill) got his tattoos, he requested for them to be green, which Aang obliged to despite wanting to keep the Sylphian traditions at their peak, but made an exception for Ben since he’s the wielder of the Omnitrix.
