About:

Elara is the embodiment of a supernova. Nobody knows her real age, but it’s thought to be over 5,000 years old, although she is immortal.

Elara appeared out of nowhere a couple hundred years ago and has since been seen and treated as a goddess, although she doesn’t associate herself with that title. To avoid attention and easily walk among everyone else, she creates a disguise, almost an alter ego, and goes by a different name and appearance. Her fake name is Midnight Meadow and although she avoids showing connections with her true self, she shares similar personality traits, including her stubbornness, lack of showing emotion, and being a loner. She only reverts back to her original form when needed, either to make an important appearance, or to use her magic to help save others from world ending crises.

As Meadow, she acts as a caretaker to plants, more specifically large forests. This allows her to be alone and lower the risk of revealing her identity. There have been times when her anger will get the best of her, causing lack of control in her magic, and almost lose her disguised form. Using powerful spells will also reveal her true form.

Powers/Abilities:

    -         Normal unicorn magic (Levitation, blasts, teleport etc.)

    -         Shapeshift (disguise)

    -         Powerful spells (Stronger blasts, healing, Magic manipulation etc.)

    -         Glowing markings, mane, and eyes (can use at will or using very powerful spells)

    -         Mane flows with wave

    -         Can create a semitransparent platform with hooves to “float” or “run on air”

Rumors:

There are many rumors that surround Elara, mainly due to her mysterious life and background. Most of them are theories about her background, but some rumors are not so well. She has neither confirmed nor denied these theories, which just makes her all the more mysterious.

    -         Markings: Elara has many markings that cover her body, from stripes to socks to symbols, she has many of them. Some are a darker shade of her coat, while others are white, and these are what holds rumors. There are multiple rumors based just on these symbols. One theory is that they represent different planets and galaxies that she has saved. Another though is the complete opposite, and that they are actually ones that she failed to save, or she herself destroyed, and so given a mark as a permanent reminder of her failures. There is also a theory that they are the planets that she currently protects.

    -         Mane and hooves: Her hair waves with her magic and the inside of it resembles the cloudiness of a nebula, and her hooves appear to be a window to the same thing. Many think that nebula it is the aftermath of the supernova she was born from. Some have also thought that her mane is a portal to the nebula.

    -         Meadow: Nobody knows that Meadow is Elara, but some have noticed similarities and connections. Some would think the horn is a dead giveaway, but it’s also a very rare unicorn trait, an excuse she uses to help hide her identity. Those who do still believe that Meadow is Elara claim that she chooses to stay as Meadow because she wishes to be like any other mortal and live a normal life.

    o   Some say her age is over 5,000yrs, others say she’s only a couple hundred.

    o   A few have thought that she is the mother of the universe (this one she has found ridiculous)

    o   Some think her pendant in her main form holds a fragment of the supernova she was born from.
