Description
This is also an excuse to try a new style, but I might still make some tweaks before I turn to it permanently. I do like it so far though.
But I think my pony and horse styles are slowly merging Haha! XD

I made some small changes to fit my style, I hope that's alright

Nickname: Star

Race: Earth Pony
Gender: Female

Personality Traits:
- Stubborn
- Bitter

Background:
Like most people who end up like her, Thorn Star didn’t have the best childhood. Quite the opposite in fact, she considers it to be a hell of its own. Her mother left when she was only three, leaving her with her abusive father. Always either drunk or angry, or even both, Star had a hard time escaping his abuse. She constantly had to use makeup, even as a filly, to hide her cuts and bruises.
When she was 15, her father gave her the worst beating she had ever endured. Having hit her limit, she unleashed all her anger, pain, and tears on her father, fighting back with all her strength. She ran away from home, leaving her father bloodied and bruised, broken bones, and alone. That was the last time she saw her father, and she was proud of what she had done.
Thorn Star barely got by living in a poor apartment, paid for by small jobs. Very rarely would she go out in public to drink, yet one night she went too far and got severely drunk. Thankfully, one of the bartenders took her home and stayed the night to make sure Star was safe and if she got sick. Later that bartender would become her very first close friend.

Personality:
Star is not someone you want to mess with. She has been known to get violent, either verbally or physically, although she hates herself if she gets that way because she reminds herself of her father. Either way, she’s still a pony to be wary of. She’ll leave you behind if she doesn’t trust you, which is almost all the time. This leaves many broken hearts behind her. Tigress on the other hand, she trusts with her life, and cares very deeply about her.

Thorn Star grew up to be very bitter and cold. Over the years she learned to control her temper, but still has episodes. She easily gets triggered when someone is yelling at her, with flashbacks of when she was traumatized by her father. She doesn’t like to admit that she still struggles with trusting others, as well as her own emotions and self-esteem. Deep down she does have a caring heart, but it’s hard to let down those walls she spent years building.
On the outside Star looks like somepony who hates everything and everyone and feels nothing but bitterness. Yet in reality, she’s constantly hurting, and feels alone. Many nights she has spent alone crying and drinking herself to sleep. She hates herself to being like her father and wishes she could be more open. But she can’t do it alone.

- Never takes off necklace
- Has a soft spot for foals
- Has a sweet tooth
- Commonly gets nightmares
- Never gets emotional in front of anyone except Tigress
- Doesn’t have a drinking problem, but will sometimes drink a lot to hide her emotions
- Rarely smiles
- Hates her mother for leaving her
- Sees Tigress as an older sister
- Is skinny for an Earth Pony
