I mean, Orca whale definitely.But the red markings? D: I figured they'd have to be scars or something, cos Orcas don't have red lines all over them...

'Course orcas don't have red marks--that's kinda what makes it a pokΓ©mon, lol. Anyway, love the realistic take. The light shining down through the water turned out really nicely.

You have a lot of great ideas! I mean what you draw makes sense when you put it into realistic ways :3 like the scars beign the red markings! That's such a cool idea! And the little lighter lines from the surface of the waves are nice touches ^^ Too bad the background looks a little bare, but it's still awesome! =3

Wahaha! I don't think Kyogre was meant to be whale-itized. Especially since he had no real head to begin with (e.g. it was pretty much uniform with the rest of his body).
But on the technical side of things, not bad. Great sunlight refraction.

XD Well, Pokemon are somewhat abstract-ized animals or other objects... and when you think about it, it's definitely an orca whale. The patterns, the body design; it has large flippers, tail flukes and dorsal fin(s) ... the white eye spot, the white patterns under its jaw and belly... why wou;d it not be an orca?

I freaKing love it. I think that this is one of the few pokemon that can actually be made into a real animal. Some of the others love odd, like bulbasur of charmander.*not saying that the other deviation was bad, but to me it didn't look good* I wonder what the legendaryy birds would look like real?

But this is all semi-realism! It's allowed to be abstract/whatever. If it was realism... I'd have to try and make it an RL animal with the Pokemon's basic build...
