Happy New Year, everyone!
The idea for this wallpaper was a little out there... show "time" — a moment being created at the smallest scale. You can see the matter and light coming together to form the quantized particles and crystaline structures that make up our observable world.
The colors chosen reference New Year's / New Beginning (Gold), Chinese Year of The Green Horse (green), and Pantone's color of the year - "Radiant Orchid " (violets)
I had a ton of fun making this and I hope you have fun looking at it!

Thank you! For the last few years I've turned my focus to interface design, animation, and video. Haven't made a wallpaper in a while, but I've definitely been thinking about bringing back a monthly thing. Your interest is greatly appreciated and motivation for me to get back into it
