Your pixel skills still amaze me. She looks very precious. c: I like how the swirls on the tail were in your painted version of her but I really like how soft her hair looks in this one. It might be because there's no apparent break in the hair by the ear like the other image. Both versions are nice in their own way. ^^

I agree so much about the hair gap and that's why I changed it up in this one 
digital painting is something I need to study more (trying to study the artist loish). The lack of control/familiarity with the medium frustrates me a bit so sometimes character sketches will sit unworked for months (like starpuff's other piece.. u_u)

You're very welcome. And digital painting can be hard. XD I don't do lineless or what I would consider painting digitally very often. And usually I only post my successful pieces that I'm fairly proud of.
I'm right there with you. There are so many sketches I don't even touch sometimes because it's hard and I need a lot of motivation to get started and not breakdown halfway through a drawing. c:
