I use some paints from Volks, but really any soft bodied acrylic that's been thinned to the consistency of milk will do

Ooh okay, I never even thought to thin the paint. I attempted repainting a doll once but it wasn't smooth, so I decided to just stick with customizing the clothes and hair.

Very accurate. I saw that doll at a toy store by in 05 and couldn't believe Irwin didn't put her star broach there. It would've made her more accurate

What did you use to remove the old eyes?? Or are they painted over?

Paint thinner with a mr clean magic eraser takes the old paint right off
