Description My small, but growing, Postwar Collection.

Left to Right

2018: A 2-6-4 built in 1956

2025: A 2-6-2 based on the Pennsylvania K4s 4-6-2. She was built in 1947.

8506: Not really postwar, but a Lionel MPC 0-4-0 that has the rugged lines of a Postwar switcher.

2065: One of the crown jewels of my postwar collection (and the most expensive!), this 4-6-4 steam engine was made in 1954.

2025*: Another product of 1947, this 2-6-2, was also built like a K4s, but has several missing parts. She still runs, so I plan on rebuilding the gal, and giving her a facelift, so that she will resemble a WM 4-6-2.

I am too! I can't imagine it'll be very hard. The plan is to buy a reproduction boiler front (their like 12 bucks) and file off the keystone, then I'll add a Western Maryland number board.

The pilot is a little too far gone, so she may get a rock knocker too!
