I seem to be getting a lot of smiley replies lately, and when I say "a lot", I of course mean "two."
Perhaps my comments require better phrasing. Maybe in the form of questions! "I simply adore this, do you care for jam?" "Your art redefines my life, what do you think of the oil crisis in the Middle East?"
That way, my towering emotions of love and undying respect get across, AND you have a topic to talk about in return! Conversational prompt.
It must get tiresome, accepting compliments. Saying thanks is probaby only spine-tingling the first twenty-seven times, you know? Of course you do.

Well most of the time, i can't think of anything else to say, maybe because i don't want to say anything offensive (personally i often say inappropriate things, or start to ramble, perhaps bite my tongue to prevent myself saying anything utterly stupid), but receiving a compliment is always encouraging

I hear ya on the rambling, though. It's always difficult -- I want to comment on a picture, but then when someone actually replies, I feel the need to reply as well. Then they, out of politeness, reply to my reply, and of course, I can't let that go. So I reply to them, and they in turn to me.
Yet as this goes on, I get the paranoid feeling that they hate me for my never-ending comments, but the sheer force of chivalry compels them to keep finding another smiley or acronym to send back. But! At the same time, if I stop replying, they might be utterly offended by my brusqueness. It's a sickness.
My apologies for my strange, strange comments. I've been replaying DA2 nonstop, and I think I may be channeling sarcastic lady Hawke.

Mostly when i don't want to lie, i say the very accurate truth - and people simply don't believe me. But i guess it's only a risky solution for the 'lie or not to lie' dilemma.

When it works, it works well. Another fantastic method for deterring questions is to scream loudly and run away. Don't look back, just run. When the inquirer catches you, they'll still have questions, but, different ones now.

Great idea, beautiful picture.
At the beginning I thought Aveline would be a temporal companion, or the dullest NPC ever, but she quickly grew one me. She's a wonderful character (with a really cute second husband) and I always loved to talk with her.
