Take Mario and Kirby for example, they have a positive, lighthearted appearance, and they don't seem like much at first, but when evil appears, BOOM! They're amazing heroes! Yeah, to be honest, I was going for a more realistic appearance when drawing star, while at the same time, still retaining a cartoonish appearance. I think it came out pretty well ^_^
