Description
This is originally, a sketch the size of a ping pong ball that I stuck to the side of my desk facing my bed. It made me laugh every time I snuck a glance at it. Anyway, I thought, for fun and practice with an amazing freeware called Inkscape , I'd trace it and digitalize it for one of these.. motivational things. Tryed a more rounder style too. Meh. Not much more I can say for this. Other than it makes me laugh at how HOMICIDAL he looks.
I wish I had better things to draw

There are some little bits that look off (mainly lines that don't look totally complete) but it's not that big of a deal. Probably not worth fixing.

I have gotten into the habit of drawing his pompadour all.. spikey. People said it looked cool, and I kinda think so too xD Makes him look even more crazier too.

Yeahh, people have noticed that! See, this was done in all in vector, so when I traced it, it was also very small. When I came to save it, I saved it as a much bigger file, it seemed to have picked up all the minute misses. Since I wasn't so proud of this one, I really didn't give it a good look over like I probably should have

Well, it's only how I see Zim! Other people probably see him as a bit.. different. But if Zim's name where to be synonymous with anything else besides dookie, it would definitely be megalomania
Ah, well, it was only a quick job. Do you think it's worth fixing? It wasn't a proud art piece to begin with, I just wanted to see it finally done before I get to my other work
It's the freeware equivalent of Illustrator. It's great for vector art, and if you're into that sort of thing, I really recommend it. Even if you're more into hand drawn art with brushes in programs like Photoshop, it's still a really handy program to have if you ever do that sort of thing once in a while. It also has a neat feature, where it smooths tablet brush strokes out. And, if you're afraid an image is too small, with vector, you can always enlarge it and there would be no faults. Unless you did a crap all job at colouring like me, then when it's expanded, the little bits become more visible. Which is easily fixed, of course. Just need to be more careful around those bends.
It's only a newly developed program though, you may come across any errors (which I haven't yet!).

Well, it keeps me from drawing the same characters over and over again, and I tell myself to draw every day, because the more you draw the more you get better.

Well, if it gets you to sleep easier than purposely not saying anything, then it goes by what works for you
Thought I might mention this.. but whenever I stay up drawing something, I become less sleepy because I'm concentrating not just being awake, but on the sketch itself. It keeps me up for longer. Then, when I finally turn the lights out, I stare at nothing for quite some time, because I'm still stuck on the alertness. Maybe it might be doing the same to you.

Yeah, probably. It's either me getting caught up in drawing or talking to myself. Once I get started, I can't seem to stop unless I draw myself away with much effort.

But as long as you know it's something you can control, it's fine, staying up late because of that. I talk a lot in my head, if that make you feel better. Sometimes, even in the presence of others, I just say out loud what I say in my head.
By the way, are you still very busy? I don't know too many literate and critical IZ fans, but I was hoping that if you ever had the time, you could review the script for my comic? Like an editor, sort of thing? Just to look for any loop holes, whether it's too long, etc. You don't have to, if you know you won't have the time. I can always ask someone else.
