Description I turned the radiator up
and watched the snow fall on the bed
Can't you feel yourself go numb?
But it's just a phase, she said

It won't matter fifty years from now
what he told you last night
So stop being selfish and acting depressed
and forget about making things right

But how can you make me forget the man
that finally proved you all wrong?
Yet how can I possibly forgive the boy
that convinced me I didn't belong?

Well, it's you're fault for keeping the secret
for now who would ever believe?
You know that you haven't a shoulder to cry on
and deserve all the grief you receive

So crank up the heat all the way
and open your window up wide
let the indifference and confusion consume you
and pretend you have nothing to hide

Very nice. Flows very well, spoken word style.

I've read this short several times and each time I get a differant image in my head about the meaning and the one telling the "narrative". I see a woman, late 20's early 30's sitting in an old truck. Snow is falling, blanketing everything. The woman sits alone, her eyes red from crying for too long. Her appearance would best be discribed as disheveled.
That's what I see when I read this. The meaning however, is not so clear to me. I won't ask why you wrote this. Don't really what to know.
