I shot this before, but only a single shot...
I've wanted to stack this view for awhile now and finally got around to it here...
not very clean, but better nonetheless

Do you mind if I ask you a question? How close your lens was where you took the picture?

I am sorry if you already state that in your description, but my knowledge for photographing is not enough to understand the numbers.

just a few inches. Β the close working distance is the one main downfall of this method, and you must use a diffuser to get the light on the subject when shooting at such magnifications. Β 

fyi, at life size (1:1) many lenses have about a 9-12 inch working distance, which is comfortable, but when you go beyond life size into high magnification, your working distance shrinks. Β
