odviously Daxter thinks this lil scene is waaaay too quiet for his liking, man his teeth are big!this is a homage to 's charming Jak & Daxter doujin comic, soo cute you can't help but 'eeeep' at every panel, i can't do that anime thing so i just did it in my style. the clothes designs are hers i think.
i also did this for a little activity book i'm doing for my wee cousin, she's 9 and loves to draw so i'll just send her a bunch of inked lineart and stuff like that to colour. her parents don't agree with her wanting to become an artist, so i'm gonna sent her ALOT of encouragement and basically tell them where they shove their naive pre-concieved notion of artists as a whole. *ehem* damn they are assholes!

I think she designed Daxter's clothes instead of Jak's because it shows what his clothes look like in Jak2. But, anyways....OMG! I luv ur art style! I'm kinda getting sick of drawing anime, I wanna do art like yours sssssoooo badly! Luvs the pic! XD

awww thanks so much hun! i kinda incorporated a TINY little bit of anime influence into my art, but you can barely see it now. i love the Western art style too much to ever try drawing anime. such a huge compliment tho!

the only thing i feel entitled to tell anyone in advice on drawing is to hon up your draftman skills by drawing from life first, then work on your cartoon skills. if you do this there's no stopping you. that's all i can say.

Ll! Now THIS is charming! XD this is TOTALLY Daxter's kinda thing, ALL THE WAY!! hee hee! It's like he'll go outta his way to tease his pal. ^___^ Which I find to be insanely adoreable! The body language in Dax too. You can just tell by how far back his hands are with those cymballs that therez gonna be some kinda ear shattering crash that may traumatize Jak forever. XD It's sucha simple little piccy, but it says SO MUCH about there child hood Sandover days.

I squealed my head off when I woke up this morning and saw it in my inbox! Because...gah! Cutey little Jak and Dax...and Dax playing a prank...and jak has no clue!
Ah...yushum. I designed his clothes. :3 (infact, I've designed all of Jak and Dax's clothes in the doujin so far, asides Jak's clothes at the very start...ho-hum. XD). YOU DREW HIS WITTLE VEST...thingy! :3 And no NOES! I LOVE your style! It'd be a shame to have them done in anime style again because, well...now I get to see what they're like from the doujin-theme with the non-anime look. :3

it's so much fun to draw them in ickle form, it like, gets cuter and somehow i didn't think that would happen, god damn the way you draw both of them as kids has me all loved up for them. just wanna hug the both of them!
i LOVE the clothes you designed for them as they grow up progressively, especially Dax's as they suit him so well. awww he had style even back then.
also, what would be the fun in drawing Dax if you DIDN'T draw his big teeth or freckles? it just wouldn't be him. but i don't think i was puting the freckles on him until i saw your comic, now they're definately being encorporated into the design.
EEEEE...pls don't dedicate anything to me, i just love drawing this stuff so much i don't mean to gain anything from it....i might just die from happiness if you did that dude. i'm doing alot of dying recently, it's probably not good for me. see what you people make me do!
