Is that a comet they're seeing off the starboard bow?

Actually it would have been port bow, The RMS Titanic hit the iceburg as it was turning to the left (AKA: Port side), think of it this way Left has less letters the right as is the same with port and starboard therefore Port is left and right is starboard. Just saying. Anyway David, That is an awesome Olympic class ship, just a quick thing in 2016 could you make another one of these ony USS Britannic, the Day was November 21, 1916 that the Britannic was hit by a rogue German Mine (Not a torpedo as most would believe.) You don't have to do it if you don't want to.

Yeah I forgot which side it got hit on. At least the joke still generally held up.

An appropriate class too, since the real Titanic was the sister ship of the Olympic.

There are two verisons of that design. The first is the deadalus class- which predates the Enterprise of TOS era. That verison can be seen as a model in Captain Ben Sisko's office aboard DS9. The verison enterprisedavid has here looks like the ship that Captain Crusher commanded in the alternate timeline presented in the NG series finale "All Good Things.." I think it was the USS Pasteur.

Not bad, I wasen't too much of a fan of the bulbous sphere in the front of the ship instead of the saucer.
