what does he mean by "here" like the after life? strange that he still missing an eye even though he is a ghost. and boomer skin looks normal. how does that work? O.e?

Butch says that because he wants Boomer to be with Brick, meaning like he should be inside his body and alive :U
He is not missing an eye since he is a soul, yet, he is so hurt by the life that just ended that after dying he appeared as the state he died like... Butch´s state shows how traumatized he is about what happened. (And also because of the trauma he can´t change his appearance so easily)
Boomer is in a better state than Butch is so as a soul he can appear as he wishes to look like... and that means looking well. Doesn´t mean that Boomer is completely okay with what happened... it just means that the way they were both affected is different.

Butch is just a soul right now, meaning he doesn´t have eyes or anything like that... as a soul he can change his appearance as he wishes... right now he has the form in which he died... because he lost an eye he appears with an eye closed and because the trauma was great he has a hard time looking different as well

Uh, they are still sad you know... Boomer just smiled because he saw his brother... he doesn´t even know he is dead yet... I don´t get what you meant with "delude their lives away of what´s true" but still stays the fact that seeing Butch again is still a reason to smile/ be happy for.
