Description I have not been uploading stuff. Art school is fun, but having to draw for school and assignments incinerates my time.

This concept came from a very old piece, 7 years back, and my personal works from here on will be a series of pictures like this documenting certain seraphs from hebrew mythos.

As such, anyone looking for pony works, sorry that there wont be some for awhile, but my works with mlponline continues, so stay tuned/

Before reading your description I immediately wondered if there was a strong Hindu influence. Perhaps I didn't pay enough attention in Hebrew school, though no one was allowed to make pictures of such things. This one is quite an interesting creature, with the many wings plus the "ribbons," as if to fly, and with the skeletal parts I can understand the tie-in with the world beyond life. The skull seems bird-like to me somehow, which fits in just fine. I can't interpret everything (and it sounds like you were using another's description to make this), but inner light and the beautiful (and gorgeously detailed) headdress give me the impression of greatness in this world and the next.

Well if you want an art historian point of view, i represented the 3 signs of the apocalypse in the drawing. The Beast of the Sea and the Dragon are quite literally drawn onto the cloth, but the False Prophet i represented with the figure itself. the XP on his head is the Labarum, the first two letters of the greek word ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ, representing Christ, XP itself is translated as Chi Rho, and represented the status of Christ.
I also drew him holding a cross with his right hand, only for it to be in inverse. Also, instead of the familiar figure of christ standing or sitting on a ball representing his dominin over the mortal realm, this time he holds the ball in his hand, signifying a strong desire to possess.

Wait, so the XP wasn't because you're using Windows?

Anyway, yikes! that's a lot to take in. Then again, I often have to remind myself that most religions are more complicated than the weirdest anime/manga series. Still, next time I'll skip the description and just say try to figure it out — even though I'm pretty sure it'll be way off. (It's still fun for me. )

Very nice details on the head/halo, as well as its hands and wings. Nice work!
