Description I finished it!!! I actually finished it! Woah... alrighty, I'll start talking.
This is for as a thank-you-for-everything drawing! ^-^Drawing one of the sexiest men in Tekken in both his regular and alter-ego form, Lee Chaolan and Violet! And also a few chibis. (Note to self: Change chibi style now!)
there are a few things wrong with this drawing, I will admit, but overall, I think I did an alright job.... maybe...?
And I'm sorry for the "Excellent!" in the backgorund... I know you can't see all of it, but you get the gist. XD

So yeah.. I hope you like it Lena! ^^ Thanks for everything once again!

Lee Chaolan, Violet - Tekken, Namco

Ahahahaha, I've already outlined! Now onto the coloruing! And since it's the Long Weekend, I get more time for it!
Ahahahahaha, yes, yes! Bahahaha, funny fact about drawing this, I was intending to draw all the lines on Lee's undershirt thingy, but I'm really shit at it with the tablet. So I rubbed out the majority of it and only left the good parts in.

What's the Long Weekend? Is it like Golden Week in Japan? Enlighten me

Aww, that's happen! But it must be pain drawing all lines in digital way I never tried to draw with tablet, I wonder if any of my friends have it, so I can try once

Envy-kun99 In reply to RokudoRena [2013-06-23 11:55:10 +0000 UTC]

I shall enlighten you with my knowledge! The Long Weekend is also called the Queen's Birthday. Since Australia is under the British Empire, the Queen of England is still our "highest form of monarchy", even though she doesn't give two shits about our country. And it's not really her birthday, it's just a weekend to signify her actual birthday, which is God knows what day. But it doesn't really matter to me. All that registers to me is a day-off!

Ahahaha, it is. I think it's because you're not actually drawing on the actual paper, which would make it 10,000 times easier. You should try it sometime! It really just depends on the art skill in the person. Since I'm pretty crap at it, the result is crappy. But with your art skill, I'm sure you'll have a natural talent for it!

Yeah, that far I know from history xD But doesn't matter indeedm just give the day-off But thanks for explaining, now I know lil bit moar about Australia
Ohohoh...natural talent.. yeah right XDD Just one more question...do you draw in Photoshop?

Envy-kun99 In reply to RokudoRena [2013-07-05 07:27:30 +0000 UTC]

Hehe, you're welcome! It really sucks though, because the Queen's Birthday is the only public holiday that falls during school time. The other public holidays are all in the school holidays. :/

Drawing in Photoshop is can be simple and complicated at the same time. When you open Photoshop, you can select a blank paper size to draw on (it gives you custom sizes that you can choose from. ). You can draw with a mouse, but a tablet is much, much, much, MUCH better. Photoshop also supplies you with heaps of options such as color choices, different brush tools, brush sizes. It has so many options, it's not funny. I'm still learning and finding new options myself.
Also Layers! OhmyGod! Layers can be a miracle, or they can be annoying as hell. You can make layers fro different things you want to draw and stuff, so if you have a layer with one colour on it, and then you make a layer with another colour on it and you're not happy with it, you can rub out the colour on that layer without rubbing out the colour on the other layer. That's pretty much the basic use of using Photoshop for drawing. Sorry if I didn't explain it too well. There's so much more to explain but even i'm not sure how to put it into words. XD

I can't even imagine drawing with mouse.. Just.. I mean.. How you can draw beautiful lines with a mouse On the other hand, tablet sounds more realistic to me I'm thinking about buying it, after I get paid
Well.. I've seen some basic options in Photoshop, 'coz I edit my drawings in it, since I have no printer, but camera ruins colors and stuff (._. )
Everyone have said that layers are the most valuable thing when you draw digitally... But I could not comprehend even when they explained me at my native language I need to learn myself to understand But I don't think it's that hard, I'm a quick learner, I just do it in my way

I know! That's what I thought! But then my girlfriend showed me this person she found on tumblr, who drew all these really awesome chibi pictures, and Jacinta said that she drew them all with a mouse. I was like, "Dafuq!" If you're thinking about drawing Digitally, you really should get one. But promsie me one thing, don't ever give up on drawing traditionally. You're way too good at it to just drop it. ^^
Yeah, I understand about camera ruining a drawing. :/ When I used to not know how to work my scanner, I took photos of my drawings as well, but what pissed me off the most was the fact that the light kept ruining it more... Sometimes the light source made the photo of my drawings turn blue. :/

Don't worry, layers are very easy to understand when you start using them. There are other things you can do with layers, like duplicating them and copying them and merging them... but... I just stick to the basics.

Noooo way, with mouse?! SKILLS!!!!!
Awww, no, of course I won't give up on drawing traditionally!
Yeeees!! And I have to deal with it every time I want to upload something, but comparing to camera, scanner is better. At least, easier to fix the colors XD
Even with basics you can draw good pictures

Tell me about it!

I'm glad to hear that! I wouldn't want to see awesome skill thrown away. ><

Ahahaha, yeah... but still, scanner has its disadvantages. I mean, it alters the original color of the drawing and makes it look more dull. Like that b'day art I made you, I swear, the original piece is way more vibrant and colorful than the scan.

Awwww, thankyouu. That means alot to me. But still, I hope to improve on my skills so I can become a better artist!

Ohhh, Nathan!!!! About colorful art! I wanted to ask, what kind of color pencils do you use? I really was fascinated by colors and they felt so soft! I wonder if I can buy them here! (o_o )

Envy-kun99 In reply to RokudoRena [2013-07-25 08:41:02 +0000 UTC]

I don't use anything special really. Not like the expensive stuff anyway. I use Faber-Castell Classic colour pencils. I put in a bit of old Derwent coloring pencils too. But that was only a tiny amount. Do they sell Faber-Castell over there?? O.o

And now that means I'll buy them Thanks!
