Description A digital photograph of headstones in a graveyard, with fog and fall leaves. I did a few tiny alterations in photoshop, but only to alter/hide any visible names on the headstones and monuments.

Thank you, I thought so. I really love that old cemetery. I was very sad to have to move away from the area. I really miss fog.

Sorry for the delay in responding.

I like this a lot. The sharpness is crisp and the colors are nice. The fog really makes the shot for me though. Nice work!

Oh God, so gorgeous! (hah, I seriously have such a limited vocabulary ) This picture seriously kicks ass. The composition is perfect, with the gravestones perfectly framed with the focus on the tallest and the trees in the background, it's just awesome. And again, I'm loving the foggy effect and how you've captured it, the background is both gorgeous and creepy at the same time, especially with a cemetary setting. So, so wonderful! Seriously, this is so fantastic on so many levels, I love it. Well done on it

nice, i lvoe graveyards. spend alot of my timein them the image is great, but for some reason i dont like the title. it reminds me of some cheesy zombie movie made in the 70s. ha. but i love how bright the grass is

*laugh* Oh, dear... I must admit, I have difficulty finding names for my graveyard images, without it getting a bit cheesy. I didn't want to be completely dull either, and just name them 'Graveyard' one through six, or what not.

Thank you though.

Drat, accidentally hit post before spell-checking. *wry smile*

I love graveyards, and this shot has a gorgeous mood. The darker ground in the foreground, the misty trees in the foreground, it fits perfect.

I think the thing I like the best about this shot, besides how peaceful it is, is the beautiful perspective. The angle is just about perfect, and one can see the cemetary going on into the distance. ^_^ Beautifully executed! bravo.

Just to point out why I prefer 018 to this, it's because that gave the viewer the impression of watching from someplace secluded, being more inside the picture - this due to the natural framing I mentioned. This picture has many of the same qualities, however it feels much more open, as if you're standing in a field rather than sitting in the bushes, so to speak.

Yes, this one gave me the feel of standing on a hill looking down on a distant city somehow. A city of the dead.

this is the best in the series (which all kicks ass) because it really draws you in. kinda makes me think of phantasm and being chased by those little metal balls for some reason. then again i tend to think about that randomly anyways.

powerful.

Thank you. *S* The perspective of that particular angle did work well. It made me think of a great city, seen from a hilltop, as if those were all tall buildings... thus Houses of the Dead. *S*

*L* = the action of laughing
I never got used to emoticons and still instinctively use the syntax I picked in a fantasy writing chat. I shouldn't be surprised that other people don't understand it, but I haven't managed to break the habit yet. Sorry.

I was only laughing because I don't know what 'WCIII Undead' is.

seems a lot more fun than sitting around tryping letters inside of asteriks but hey whatever floats your boat right?

either way whether or not you do isn't really the issue here, just go look at some of the artwork.

Beautiful shot ...and well framed too ... The fog is great... If it were bigger it might make a kool wallpaper ...

noted as one that the glint in his eye dared a response to his words...and at the same time welcomed it.

Thank you. I have been working on framing things a bit more professionally, since I got a better camera. I do have a much larger version of this, but I usually post things in a size that is easily viewable in a browser. Some poor souls are on dial up, after all. I may get a Prints account one of these days though, if there is interest. *S*
