Dreams can give you some of the most beautiful and ethereal thoughts to experience. They can alter the way you visualize the world, the way you interact with the people, and the way you are. The unfortunate part of them is that they fade far away into the depths of our heads, and leave without a trace. There was one in particular that stood out to me.
I was alone, surrounded by yellow butterflies…“mariposas” I prefer. Lovely creatures, soft to the touch, and elegant in the way they moved in the breeze.. The vast fields of wildflowers full of a variety of succulent nectars, I… I didn’t understand what purpose they served, or the supposed meaning behind it; it looked like something more ‘along the lines.’ Dreams are like fragments of your reality welded by your mind to create this evocative kind of ‘world’ for you to explore and try to make sense of.
They were coming from all different directions, yet never really seemed to go anywhere far. At most, they hovered within my area of grass and flora. Of all places they could flutter their little wings to, why go near me? Was it because I was the only person around? Did my dream cover me in a cologne of the sweetest nectar? I’d love to know someday, because even though everything looked great, it was everything against the norm…by nature, that shouldn’t happen… only parasites looking for an open wound would circle rounds over someone, right?

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! IT IS FINALLY THE SPOOKY MONTH 🎃✨!!!!! Here’s the first prompt: Dream (or ☁️🦋dreamy🦋☁️lol) ! This is featuring one of my characters, Toby Ryecroft! In this version, he’s in his mid-20s (I hope he looks fitting in that age range). I’m still working a bit on that semi-realism and color schemes :7!!
Hopefully like last year, I can be consistent with these daily prompts! It’ll all be worth it lul :3!! I can’t wait to see everyone else’s pieces 💛 this’ll be a fun month for everyone, good luck with this challenge, and remember to have fun ya’ll!!!! 😄✨
