Description
Uni Project (Interactive Narrative)Visual & Audio files had been greatly compromised in this version due to its large file, so I apologize for the downsize in quality.
Features:
Apart from the different paths and options you can pick, there are also 2 different endings (with a minor difference in the outro, can you spot it?)
Comments will be greatly appreciated.
Software used:
Photoshop> After-Effects> iMovie> Garageband> Flash (in that order)

This. Is. COOOOL. Seing Sam in a Wild West bar after that West Edo Hill was pretty unexpected, but... I'm already sorry for that guy since Sam doesn't like guns XD
I don't even want to imagine how much work you had to do for that. Also kudos for the overall style, it perfectly matches that rough hero!

Cheers! All drawings & icons was done in photoshop, then animated in After Effect, which is then brought to iMovie for the SFX & all of that is put together into Flash at the end. (long tedious process but defo worth it seeing your work comes to life)

my suggestion is to start with something short and more efficient, then just keep doing them! (loads of practice). Extending the length and workload each time you progress, in time you'll defo be able to pull off something more time consuming. I experimented with all the different softwares for various projects before I started this one, which is why at this point I'd just need to focus on the overall instead of trying to be patient with getting things done, does it make any sense? lol

Did you import your photoshop file into AE and animated it from there by any chance?

really? It wasn't intended to look 3Dish at all actually (well thats a plus!), no 3D space was set up at all, its all done by manipulating separated layers (background, mid ground and foreground) to make it look like there's a depth and movement in space (coz I always try to be as efficient/ lazy as I can so these are all just basic positioning, rotation, blur adjustments)

Actually come to think of it, that might be the fish-eye effect I used on AE, done in scenes with camera panning; it gives the impression of morphing background making it look slightly more 3D-ish I guess.

yeah, took me about 3-4 weeks & its such a tedious task to bring everything together at the end (especially the Flash bit), endless troubleshooting and play testing to do, but I really enjoyed the whole process and I think I've leveled up a bit, hahah
