Description The small egg Pokemon happily scribbled into her sketchpad. The other day while visiting City Vandalia with the rest of her 'Family', a rather fluffy-looking Meowth had ran into them, panickingly telling them about the Drifloons stealing all his costumes. Melody, the owner of Sweet Berry Ranch and the one who kept the 'Family' together, had happily agreed to help the poor Meowth with his dilemma in whatever way she could.

Namine had immediately began working on an idea for a costume that she thought would look wonderful for the Masquerade Parade! ... Though she had absolutely no idea what a 'Masquerade' was, she was sure that the costume she was designing would look wonderful in any sort of parade! Besides, pink dresses looked good on any occasion, right? Right. Definitely.

Once she had finished her drawing, the little Togepi got up on her feet and held up her masterpiece--It looked fantastic! Bows, frills, and the color pink--Everything needed for a wonderful parade dress! With an excited squeak, she ran to where she would find her trainer so she could show how she planned to help with the Masquerade Parade. She just knew Melody--and everyone else--would love it.

The brunette human was happily humming a tune in the kitchen, as she cooked up lunch for everyone. Buzzby, an Elekid, was eagerly watching with his stomach growling with hunger. He was currently sitting on the counter next to Melody, making sure to be careful not to get burned or anything.

" Don't worry, Buzzby, lunch will be ready soon! " Melody said cheerfully, gently patting the yellow Pokemon on the head. She then heard the pitter-patter of Namine's tiny Togepi feet running into the room, causing her to turn around and kneel down to the Pokemon's level. Namine was slightly out of breath from running from one room to the next, but she quickly recovered and gave her trainer an excited grin.

The egg Pokemon held up the sketchpad triumphantly, ready to recieve praise on the brilliant costume design. Melody tilt her head a little, but soon realized that the scribble-y drawing was a dress, probably for the Masquerade.

" Ah... Namine, I'm so very happy that you decided to help, but... I really don't have any thread... Or know how to sew, really. " Melody said reluctantly. She knew how much Namine must've worked on that picture, but this was an issue she was trying to work out--Even though she agreed to help the poor Meowth and his costume problem, Melody didn't have sewing skills of any kind! She was much better at baking and cooking... But she couldn't have turned the poor Meowth down, after his sorrowful plea.

The little egg Pokemon whimpered tearfully, and lowered her sketchpad. She was quite disappointed to say the least. Melody's heart broke at the sad display, and gently scooped up her up into her hands.

" I'm sorry, but I'm sure we'll think of something for the Masquerade Parade! Don't worry! Why don't you go run along and play before lunch, alright? " She cooed, kissing Namine's head gently. Namine nodded, then jumped out of Melody's hands to drag her sketchpad out of the Kitchen.

Namine sniffled and rubbed at her eyes. She didn't know what to do now that her idea was thrown off to the side... She plopped herself down on the floor and sulked, looking down at her pretty pink drawing. It wasn't long before another Pokemon took notice.

" Hey, what's the matter, Nami? " Asked Keroppi ( In Pokespeak, of course. ) as he hopped over to the upset friend. Namine looked up and smiled a little. It was impossible to stay sad around a Pokemon like Keroppi and all his bubbily-ness.

After explaining what happened, the Froakie thought for a moment. He then got a great idea that might just work. He grabbed Namine's sketchpad and flipped open to a blank page, grabbing a crayon and beginning to draw.

" If we can't make dresses... We'll have to make something else! " He said, Namine watching him curiously. When he was done, there was a drawing of a blue mask on the page. Namine squeaked happily and eagerly asked Keroppi to draw one for her as well.

After drawing a very pink mask, Keroppi and Namine ran to the Kitchen with their mask-drawings to show to Melody. The trainer was surprised that she never thought of it before! She took the two drawings and carefully cut them out with scissors, also cutting out eye-holes. Smiling, she gave the two Pokemon their paper masks. " We'll have to make more of these for everyone else, too! "
