Description
Concept artwork for a character in a scrapped live action short film project and I and another friend were working. Light Lady was a mysterious lady of the forest who is sought when you have a problem to solve. I had to design her, with the goal of eventually dressing as her and playing her character for a scene. Thus why this is littered with design notes ;>On the left is the earliest stages of her concept to her eventual exact design on the right, reflective of the actual costume that was created. She consisted of whites and blues entirely. Tia gave me a brilliant initial concept sketch that I took and ran with, eventually working key things into the final design. Also, because I had to act and stuff, I ended up preparing for the script by drawing it out, which I featured a portion of here.
The film got scrapped in it's early stages due to a computer crash that took all our footage (well, we only got to film my scenes anyways lol) but I did manage to salvage a couple of photographs of myself in the costume :'>

As opposed to a full-on, paid commission for a completed work for a book cover, could I perhaps get a 5 minute character sketch sketch just for the heck of it?
I completely recognize my abject narcissism here, and I'm again perfectly happy with a 'no'; I just get the sense that your version of a 'quick doodle' would likely rocket me moonward.Β

Ok, if you're able... here's my doodle request... but only if your'e able! lol
My character is a 9 year old gal; her name is Kohsee (CO - see, lol).
She's got long, straw-colored hair, and is wearing a beat up set of boy's clothes. She's been through a house fire, and has successfully thwarted a pack of Kobolds who've been chasing her.
In short, she's had a rough week, and while she's prevailed over everything thrown her way, she's rather disheveled from it all.
The only other detail is this... she has a plain short sword (straight, European style) but she doesn't have a sheath for it, so she uses a large book to hold the weapon.Β
(when she grows up, this will be her 'house symbol'; a book with a short sword acting as a bookmark)
She can be in any pose you like!Β
