This is changing the subject, but it seems like almost every good Nuzlocke comic I read, the starter dies. Although Douglas seems to be pretty safe. I played through Emerald(non-Nuzlocke) and Swampert pretty much takes care of everything.

I get ya. I had two Pidgey in my Red run, one died before the second Gym. ;-; I couldn't switch her out risking someone else dying. The other is pretty awesome, he's now a Pidgeot and is part of my team for the Elite Four.

Actually, the Route 110 battle routinely gives me the most trouble. Β Basically, the only Pokemon that can handle Grovyle are Flying- and Bug-types (you probably don't have any Fire-types at this point in the game if you started with Mudkip).

The rivallry of Hoenn is one of the reasons this game was a bit...eh...It's like niether Wally nor May ever try...
Anyway, I do enjoy that effort to claim static on a telepathic line. I do wonder if telepathy would suffer a problem from going through a tunnel.
