I just wanted to know if you could do a tutorial on how you make the skin and eyes look the way you do. I'm sorry if I'm asking too much, its just that I've never been able to get those parts down

I hope it is helpful to you.. try to use darker colour for the shadow part and took notice of the lighting to determine the highlight and shadow for the hair.. It give depth and volume to the hair if you got it right..

This is a very nice tutorial to read, I think I will try it to see how it goes, thanks! I do have a question though, you say the last step is to "clean the line of the hair", but I'm not sure what you mean by that, nor can I tell by the image. What line do you mean?

I mean to make the hair more refine, so you can add more individual strands. And also to clean the outline of the hair so the edges remain sharp and not blunt..

I just submit the full version of this art from this tutorial. Interested, you can take the look. I work further on the hair and it is more refined now.

I was just looking at it, and yes, I see the difference. You added more strands of light (and dark?) and makes the hair more lively and real. The end result is great, now I'm even more curious to try this tutorial ^_^

I see. I think this may be one of the easy way to draw the hair base on my experience. I think this hair is rather difficult to get in real life since it is rather gravity defying but compare to Cloud's hair. This may be easier. Maybe using lot of wax/gel to get that done.
