just showing off my little art collection, the comic sheets from Guido Guidi arrived the other day. This is going to cost me a fortune to frame . Sorry this shot is pretty crummy

the top row except for the armada SS shot are by Alex Milne for the energon comic, the all penciled one is just a photocopy though. The SS one and the bottom row are all by Guido for the armada calendar and #18 of the comic. I love looking at the black and whites in all their glory before they've been coloured. It's nice to see the differences between Alex and Guido too. I think Guido must work a lot more loosely, doing rough images on the good paper first and then tighteing them up. I can still see imprints from under-drawings where he's changed a few things. Alex's pencils are immaculate, I suspect he probably traced them onto the paper from somewhere else, or he must have done any work underneath very lightly. The Armada-SS even looks like there was a totally different image on the paper at some point, and it still has some of the photo blue pencil on it (it's not inked as nicely either, perhaps he inked it instead of one of the professional inkers doing it?).
