Personality: Lace is an exceptionally calm and kind to get along with mare, who is easy to handle. She's of average intelligence, is very level headed, and would never hurt anyone or anything on purpose. She takes every task and problem thrown at her in her stride with curiosity, trust and confidence and rarely plays up. When she was broken in, EQ Stables knew they had a strange horse on their hands, and not just because of her remarkable colour. Her kind nature, looks, speed and beautiful gaits promised her to grow in to a mare that would be talented and loved by all. Her biggest flaw was her lack of competitive nature in races, which lead her to never be run despite being trained for it.
Lace has grown to become a superb halter mare, however, and is her most commonly entered class.

History
Equeline Stable's first mare, a thoroughbred named EQ Vintage Lace, was an arranged foal that was bred overseas and imported to the stables from an unknown stud, however it is known that she is purebred.

Lace was broken in for sprint racing, however she never had the will to win, so she was never raced. She next was trained for halter at 3yo, and began a ridden career when she was a 4yo. She was put over small jumps, taught basic dressage, and ridden on trails - always completing the tasks in a quiet and mature manner, a quirk that was blamed for her lack of competition when she ran. Trails were easy with the mare, and she happily obliged to jumping so long as she was handled calmly and quietly, though she seemed to enjoy halter and general riding the most, so they were taken up as her new main disciplines. She is progressing slowly under saddle but shows much talent and joy in the process of learning, and took halter shows upon herself with great delight.
