The transition into autumn brought a return visit to France for Les Vendanges, and also saw Liam testing the waters on a new mount. He had been trusted with Milton, an upcoming Irish stallion and, compared to Bullet at least, he moved like a boat. He wasn't as flighty on his feet but was still very sturdy and covered good ground; an ideal candidate to take on the sodden course that ran through Cap Ferret.
