I've been going through old prints and negatives to catalog and care for them. I don't have the negatives that accompany this print anymore, as they were from my best friend's wedding (which I photographed). Sadly, this print was whatever the smaller than 4x6 format was at the time, so some of the negative doesn't show here.I don't know the film type, but I do know I was using my grandfather's old Pentax that he gave to me. I took this photo some sixteen years ago, when I was a tiny little thing with an extremely short Jean Seberg type haircut. Oddly, I was using a fully manual camera and tripod, even though I hadn't developed an interest in photography. My girlfriend is wearing my hat in the photograph, which documented her home in sunny L.A.

I like this very much. Mostly because you're the one in focus. The picture tricked me into thinking that your friend's reflection was in focus, but now that I take a closer look, I don't think so...

thanks. i was having a conversation with someone who said they missed the old agfa color films, and i realized that i had many, many photographs that i took way back when, because agfa was my preferred color film at the time. even before i started considering myself a photographer, i had odd preferences and ways of doing things. i'm so glad for this, because i'm going to scan all my agfa negatives!

doing well. today was my roommate's birthday, so we walked to west philly (an hour-and-a-half walk) and went to an ethiopian restaurant/bar that our friend works at. got a lot of free beer and the food was great. other than that, same old same old. hope you're feeling better soon!
