it is my personal belief that the author of twilight lied when she said that she never read a vampire novel, JUST so she could get more readers. THUS she was apparently SUED by the author of the Southern Vampire Chronicles, since there were things in all four twilight novels that matches the first four novels of the Southern Vampire Chronicles, ALSO the first book of Nightworld, Secret Vampire i believe its called, nearly completely matches twilight, and that book was written well over a decade beforehand

May i just say, I liked vampires before twilight killed them. Ever since that damn series came out, everyones obsessing over VAMPIRES! Id hate to see vampires when someones on their period. (oops can i say that here? meh I DONT CARE XD)

Well since the HORRIBLE series came in to existence, nearly all books ABOUT vampires have a section on twilight, and it makes me sick. I'm SO glad I got a copy of Vampires by David J. Skal, which is a compilation of all vampire stories, movies, definitions, etc. BEFORE twilight came and ruined them.
