One suggestion: Did you want the guy with the spattered shirt to look like he might not have a head? On my third look, I decided he was probably just leaning forward like the guy on his left, but you might want to tweak him just a little so we don't get distracted from the important bit.

Dude, I didn't see the blood/ember splatter in class. That looks really nice! I think you probably nailed this one pretty well. Maybe if some of that red in the very background was focused around the Snark, it would be more immediately noticeable that the Snark + victim are just another part of the background? That's probably not necessary, given that we're given a really good line of sight, guy-pointing thing there already. XD
I'm quite fond of your trees, are they photographs turned into brushes, or are they hand done?
