Previous - Cover - Beginning of Arc I

a bit late but not as late as i'd feared... fyi as I mentioned on tumblr, my computer's being a bit mean to me and takes like an hour to get moving when I first start it up/is mildly slow at all times (best guess is it's in an update cycle) so not sure how activity will be for awhile. That being said! I'm not super proud of this page, since it was uhhhh really poorly planned out, especially in reference to wing placement. Still, I suppose it's good enough.

Yay first gym is over! these two pretty much swept it, although the moves and such you see here are pretty accurate to how the battle actually went down. which is good because this first gym has a pretty chill vibe and I didn't want to kick the main part of the story off with a super stressful fight.

- how do draw aerial fight scenes
- Geira's Peck is a bit more tame than Baxter's, the level limiter might have something to do with it
- I have no special awareness when I draw okay
- I didn't know how i'd do Pursuit going into it but i'm really proud with how it turned out ^w^
- typically first gyms are a lot more tame in terms of surrenders. They know that the challengers are just starting out and don't feel the need to push it too far. Since Falkner is a Good Boy he stuck with this idea instead of amping it up like the other gyms.
- Nikolai has some sweet flips

again no cameos but I have an excuse this time....gym fight.
