Description Ahahahaha... I had such high hopes for this one. It's not perfect, but it's finished. Its basically practice painting without exactly replicating a reference, which as you can see I need sorely. Her clothes are so awful, probably because I didn't have any reference at all for them. I am very happy with her face and fairly happy with her hair though, and I think that that's the best background that I've painted so far.

You'll probably recognize her from my hair tutorial. This is Siya, who I've also painted in 'beautiful storm,' but I've done a bad job representing her facial structure here, so I wouldn't expect anyone to recognize her.

Constructive criticism always appreciated!

P.S. I probably won't be able to reply to your faves individually, but I sincerely appreciate each and every one!

this is amazing! I love her hair and her face and the atmosphere and everything! I just wish to know how u did the face, if u used any texture? cause it looks so real! and the eyes too! Are you gonna make a tutorial anytime soon? ^^ I would love to see
and btw, don't worry about the clothes, they look great, and aslo, I'm in love with the tiny details on her bracelets
excellent job! for someone your age and draws like this, you should be very proud of yourself ^^

Thank you! I worked like, forever on this one. I did use a static texture, which I mentioned up in the artist's comments.
I already made a tutorial on her hair, and I'm working on a lighting tutorial.

Its lovely! The hair and face are spectacular. And I like the background a lot. The only thing I could say is that is loses something at the bottom, I would like to have seen more detail in the hand in the foreground, even though the way its cropped makes it a pretty simple shape. And the clothes look nice to me.

Thanks! I'm pretty pleased with the background, but now that you mention it it could have used a little something in the foreground. ...Yeah, you caught me slacking on the hand. I do hate them so. I'm glad you think so.
