just make it longer, wider, make it british, give it cabins and 4 poles and you have Carpathia

I followed this work, and i really like it.
Your blueprints must be very detailled, to come to such a nice rendering.
How exactly did you model the boat? picking points from the blueprints and use their coordinates, or build it by putting the blueprints inside your model and work around them? I've seen some tutorials how to do that with cars and faces, but the blueprints always seem too sketchy inside cinema, so i can't get details right.

I really do like all the ropes going around and about, and all your textures are coming along very nicely. They leave both nice shadows and lighting.

I don't know much about boat lingo, but what I think is the emergency boat (thing between the stack and the back sail) is kinda throwing me off. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that. And if it is, it doesn't look hollow, if it's something else, well obviously it has me confused

Also It all still feels a little too symmetrical, in both texture and shape. though you are probably planning on adding some things on deck to give it more of used feel.

Did I tell you a really like to colors and lighting angle and ship angle? Are you gonna paint a name on her?

Matter of fact i already did (Paint a name that is)

As for the rescue boat, yeah thats a sore spot.. but thats supposed to be a plane spanned over it (you don't want a bathing tub as rescue boat after all ,p)

The rescue boat is not much more than a pot you can sit in, its basically 1:1 per blueprint, including the plane ^^

As for symmetry ... well it IS a ship and ships are by definition symmetric .. because every system has to exist twice, including anchors and such Also this is 100% to blueprint and i am not going to add anymore stuff now (basically i added everything there is ,p)

this is very good, but lifeboat could use bit more poly, great work with textures and stuff
