As I've already said, in most cases I don't know, how the sketch would behave when developing it... This was supposed to be a portrait of a tired vampire hunter. I missed the moment when this became an image of sarcastic priest.))) He became smiling without my permission, I SWEAR!)))Few hours of Corel Painter IX - et voila!

you got too emotionally involved with your priest by the look of things. He's about to die by the unholy hands of a Nosferatu, so you wanted to see him smile before he's gone...
Partially because he's a handsome priest, and it's such a waste of a man to devout his love to god and god only.
And also, because something tells me you had a crush on Gabriel Byrne from Stigmata.
This is all subconsciously though so you may not realise it.
OR I may be wrong. you never know.
But yes I love the image. It's very alluring.
And the layout of the angles in this picture are also very well put together capturing the viewer's eye inside the image. I'm not sure if this was deliberate or not, but the mathematics behind how each object and person was placed in this picture is excellent.
