It is THESE weapons and armor that will help you to battle the evil one, and all the attacks he tries to throw your way.

An interesting interpretation, fair lady Arwen - although I see the hero's tools a little differently - as personal traits and qualities rather than external forces.
In myth they are presented as 'divine boons', but we understand that these symbolise personal qualities.
What you have done, albeit poetically, is presented an alternative list of mythical symbols. Rather than the thing signified.
And who is the evil one, but ourselves? An enemy met in our own internal battle between instinct and aspiration.

Ah, but they are not symbols my good man.
They are the Spiritual Armor that the Almighty God gives us to battle the evilties of the world and the devil that he has cast out of his perfect realm. The devil known as Lucifer, who prowls the dark earth and hunts those whose faith is weak. The armor that, if used correctly, will shine like a beacon, showing the world who the true Christians are.
The armor that will be taken up with us when Christ comes once again to take us all to the place he has prepared, the rapture will be his boat as he takes us to the Western Lands, beyond the seas of this world.
It is not I who came up with this poetic interpretation, but the Bible, and those who were told by the Holy Spirit to become authors thereof. People like King David, who slain a giant with a small stone and a sling. Or Moses, who parted the Red Sea to escape the Egyptians. It is THIS book that contains the answers and the armor.
So let those of us who wear the armor to stand tall and prepare for the final battle of time, the battle in which the signs are imminent. Let us spread the good news to all the people in order that we may pass the armor to them.
