I love this! I haven't seen much Nicholas art and this one is really great, and accurate I think.

It's amazing and gorgeous! I love the lighiting, it really captures his dark persoanlity. The warm orange candle-light does him such justice >///< I am in love with those subtle greenish highlights. Ahhhh you made him so pretty. Nicolas is my favourite 8_8

Poor Nicholas, Lestat must miss the Golden Moments with him, remember?

Oh, wow. This is really really good. I assume you intentionally gave it a prominent texture to make it look like a traditional painting, like you did with the Lestat painting? Really, really awesome <3 For some reason Nicolas has always intrigued me. It's prboably because of his relationship to Lestat, I don't know. It's been too long since I read the books. I need to reread them. I never came further than halfway through TVA. Must remedy this.

Really, really, really great painting. Love it. The colours (dark reds) remind me of portraits from that time as well. *thumbsup*

I recommend you 2 movies by Gerard Corbiau: 'Le Roi danse'(The King is dancing) with Boris Terral as the composer, Jean-Baptiste Lully and Benoit Magimel as the king Louis XIV. It's set in 17th century France, very stylish. The second one - 'Farinelli il castrato', the story of the 18th century opera singer, a famous castrate, Farinelli. Those movies are very similar to Anne Rice's style, not only because of set decoration, music, costumes etc., but also they are great dramas of love/hate relationship.
I know Anne herself has seen 'Farinelli' and she liked it. I'm pretty sure that Gerard Corbiau could make a great adaptation of one of Rice's works.
