I've been trying for soooo long to get a shot like that but I never get so many stars because I'm living in Geneva and the sky isn't really clear ^^''
I tried everything, 30 sec, going up to 12800 ISO, taking various frames and then using deep sky stacker...
Well, anyway, that's beautiful! The colors are really amazing!

Absolutely fabulous. This makes me think, along with all of our other holidays and such, we should have a "black out" day, or even a week-long festival so that everyone could experience the sky 'au natural' .

The noise performance of the 5DII is simply amazing. With a bit of post-processing it's not hard to get rid of all color-noise and some of the grain. I just used noise reduction carefully.
