Very good! I'm scared as well to use markers, mainly 'cause when I use them it ruins my drawing cause I haven't learned to use them properly. But you colored the skin very very good in markers! Which colors did you use for it?

Aw, thank you darling! XD
I used a CRAYOLA!!! peach pencil first (I cheated... T^T) but then I got bolder and started playing around. ON ONE DRAWING! I didn't think of when I might mess up. Woops. -__-
But for a pale shade, Matsuri Hino uses E000 first as a base for Yuki. It's Pale Fruit Pink. Then, I went over some with E00 (Skin White) and then some R20 (Blush) and YR00 (Powder Pink) for shading. And for darker areas, I THINK I used E11... which is a Barley Beige. I THINK. -.- Honestly, I got so caught up in shading that I forgot in which order I did it in. I just went with it. *lol* It helped me a lot too when I had the Vampire Knight artbook with me and in the back, Matsuri-san showed what shades she used for Yuki's skin tone.
But play around on scrap pieces of paper to get a feel of markers. Some people lean towards the Copics first, thinking, "OH HEY I CAN DO IT!" and some other use Prismacolor, which I can't grasp... at all. .__.
It's all about patience and practicing.

They get addictive pretty quick. I actually found mine online. When I find the link, I'll share it with you and you can get them UBER cheap. The blending is the trick and it helps with a colorless blender. I played around some on scrap pieces of paper until I got comfortable. I sorta cheated and used colored pencil over it first THEN did shading in the markers. XD

haha, well i'm just starting out with my drawing so i'm nowhere close to good enough for copic markers in my eyes- i'm still trying to find my style or edit it to where i like it! so until then, i shall only marvel at other people's copic masterpieces~

Practice, practice, practice.
you'll never get better unless you do it. I taught myself at a young age with Disney movies. They are always a good base to start off. Well... for me.
There is never stupid "shit" unless that's what YOU think.
Creativity is in everyone. Just try out different mediums. :3
