Description I was inspired to do yet another design sheet when my muse decided it wanted to add another character to the cast. I blame ~callisto-chan for this one, pointing out indirectly that her and ~anijel 's NaNo stories featured characters they used in our Harry Potter RP, Black Clouds over Hogwarts. Feeling left out, my muse immediately set forth trying to come up with an original version of Odessa, while keeping her medieval, and since ~callisto-chan was going with the magic angle, I figured I'd be different and use Odessa's dragon. And then my muse actually figured out a way to include her into Angela Dea, making me a happy Erin.

Odessa Wilson is a young girl from a country south of Lumentis, although she actually does reside in the main kingdom. She has the rare talent of being s Dragon Tamer, or someone who communicates and has a strong bond with a dragon. While dragons were created by the Diablo Deo, no one actually considers them evil, and since Dragon Tamers are rare, no one really associated them with the Diablo Deo. Odessa is an adventurous sort, being extremely tomboyish and pretty much ready for anything coming her way. She ends up joining the group after they met randomly and she hears of their adventure. I suppose she could also be considered a foil to Buttercup, whose naive and a little soft spoken.

Also, the reason why she's wearing goggles (I wanted to give her an aviator hat, but I couldn't figure it out) is because her dragon, Metallica, is actually only in travel size here. She's in fact a full grown dragon, and sometimes Odessa rides her. Also, I actually see her wearing red, but as she's wearing something close to what Buttercup is, and that's her color, I switched her colors around. Yep, red and gold for Gryffindor. I can't see her wearing another but those colors.

The other two are simply extra outfit designs to flesh out the sheet.

Yes, that's Clover again, because I wasn't satisfied with her first civilian outfit. I do really like this one, although it's inspired by an outfit from a sci-fi anime. Which is why it looks more futuristic then medieval. I made it all leather in an attempt to correct that, but I figure it works because a) this isn't strictly a medieval universe, so the outfit designs can have some modern aspects and b) she's an elf, and they can have a slightly different fashion sense. It actually does work, and it's a lot closer to the image I have of her. I like it. I also seem to have a thing for braids in this story.

And then there's Robert in his official princely outfit. ~callisto-chan mentioned that she didn't mind if I 'borrowed' the Of course, I tweeked it for my own purposes, but it made it easier to have a base. He should probably have an actual crown, but the reason I came up with for it is because, as merely a prince, all he has is the circlet. It works. I'm not so sure about the gold with the green, but I wanted to give him a pattern. Looks regal, at least.

I think I'm done with designs/characters for the moment, but I suppose we'll have to wait and see.

I'm actually happy that you managed to find a way to bring Odessa into this -- not because she hasn't been used in a while, but just because it's nice to see you managed to work her in. Strangely, when you mentioned possibly bringing her into it, I thought of her dragon too -- possibly because it's very fantasy element that could work in either world.  I was a little surprised to see her dragon can transform though! I'm just used to Metallica being such a teeny-tiny dragon that I find it hard to think of her as a big one. Never mind that Odessa wouldn't be able to ride a teeny-tiny dragon.

I like her design -- for some reason I was expecting the pigtails you usually wore, but I guess it would be hard to fit those under an aviator cap (which would be practical for flying in open air). The yellow caught me by surprise though -- I too expected her to be in primarily red with gold/yellow accents, but I can see that would be too close to Buttercup's design. The only other thing I could think of would be to have the primary colour be a soft grey or something, with red/gold stripes as accent colours -- kind of mimicking the Hogwarts sweaters and such. But it would probably be hard to find places to put the accent colours, unless there were stripes on the edges or something. The yellow probably works out better in the long run -- makes her easy to see if she's flying Metallica (?) high up in the sky, where grey might blend in too much, I don't know.

I do like that you managed to keep the moon/star earrings though! To me that's a very 'Odessa' thing (along with that choker), and it wouldn't feel right if she didn't have at least those!

The other thing that stands out is wow...I know you already did a 'casual Clover' design, but I love this design and I can't say why! You're right, it does look rather futuristic (maybe it's the jacket that makes me say that), but I like it -- the leather adds a medievalish touch, and the corset thing she's wearing underneath isn't too different from the other characters' outfits. Actually, I think I'm just really digging that jacket/gloves combo -- it looks really tough, and I'm sure it sends off a message to anyone looking at her that they'd better not mess with her. Never mind that she's basically a pacifist; they don't know that. I'm sure Clover's more than happy to let her jacket do the talking.

Robert's princely outfit is nice too -- looks a little lighter than Amir's, but still keeps the basic theme. ^^ I like the green/gold combo; it adds a nice punch to the whole outfit. I also like how it's reversed (on the body the fabric's on the outside, but on the hanging sleeves it's the lining), since that's an interesting touch! I'm not sure what the outside fabric on the sleeves is -- it looked like his dark purple on first glance, but now that I look closer it seems to be brown? It's still interesting. I also like how you kept his sash, and the way it's paired with a simple shirt -- it looks regal but still relatively comfortable.

And yeah, it makes sense for Robert to still have a circlet -- since he's not running the show just yet, while Amir is. Though since Cerulande is a Principality and Lumentis is a Kingdom, Lumentis is probably much bigger on the whole -- more responsibility for Robert, that I'm sure he's not keen on having just yet. Let him stay hidden in the library with his bookses and he'll be happy.

Nice designs! I love seeing them Looking forward to this story more and more!

I'm happy I managed to find a way to include her into AD as well, since, while I can think of a stand alone story for her, I can't see her really having a love interest (funnily enough), and it wouldn't really be an Erin story without a guy and a girl getting together in the end.  >.<  But this way, I can still include her, and still have that original character I see for her, but have her be a secondary character instead.  After all, they don't need to end up with anyone in the end.  >.>  My only issue with her is that she's probably going to end up very similar to Prophie, sadly.

I really love her design as well.  I was thinking about giving her the pigtails, but it just doesn't suit this character very well.  I thought the goggles/potential aviator cap would work better.  The yellow is a bit odd for me as well, but it works nicely, methinks.  For some odd reason, the combination of the yellow and the goggles gives me the impression that she's a pirate of all things.    Whatever, it works, and she looks good.  As long as she has some red to her...  Because yeah, I don't see grey really being her color.

But yes, the star/moon thing had to stay, since that's her trademark.  At least to me it is.

I really don't know what it is, but I agree; Clover's outfit is so awesome.  It is futuristic, but like I said, she can get away with it because she's an elf and this is a fantasy world.  The leather just makes it look more legit, I think.  It's not really a corset she's got under the jacket, but like a vest thing.  It sort of looks like the thing 'Dessa is wearing, but cut off just above her belt, if that makes sense.  Still gives it a more medieval look, in any case.  But I think what sells it is the boots.  They look so much better as knee high boots than mid-calf boots.  >.<

Well, since you gave me permission to borrow his design, I figured I might as well take it.  But obviously, add my own touches.  I'm not sure if it's lighter or whatever, but it's just different enough, in any case.  I figured since he's a prince, he should wear gold, and the added bonus was that it looks good with the green.  And of course I had to keep the sash, because it's his thing.  But yeah, I decided to reverse the pattern just to make it different.  The outside fabric is indeed brown, mostly mimicking Amir's fur.  It could be fur, I guess, but Lumentis is probably a wee bit warmer than Amir's kingdom.

I'm sure Robert could have a full crown, but yeah, he's not ruling anything yet, so he doesn't get anything fancy-like.  But yeah, Lumentis is a fairly large kingdom, and while Robert's keen on ruling it...just not yet. He hasn't read through the library yet!

Hee, thanks!
