Description
This is an oil painting I did recently. It just took second place for painting in my schools juried exhibition.Crappy photo tho, i need to get a new one once it comes down from the gallery.
This was a fun one to paint! tho it posed so new challenges because i had never worked with water like this before.
Mothers day is coming up! and this painting is for sale!

this is amazing, since i took the photo we actually have koi at home now once they get bigger i will take some more photos. xx thank you again soo much for using my stock. always wonderful when seeing someone make something magical out of it.

Thank you for such a nice compliment! you may like to know this ended up getting second place for paintings at the end of year juried exhibit at my college for painting. (looks better in person haha)
But I will keep eye out for more koi pictures from you, because I would love to do another painting.
