This one was REALLY HARD to color. I'm not even sure I really like it. But I did it. I think this one would have been better to color by hand, honestly. So I'll likely try again later. However I have two more versions to post that I kind of like better, but I don't want to weird anyone out right away, so I'm posting the one less filtered here.
This pic wore me out. heh.
I didn't use a model for this pic either, which made the hands really hard... somehow the hands are the one thing that drives me mad.

The lighting is very beautiful and elegant. Her hair seems to be flowing a bit strangely, like water or blood, but the overall piece is very well done. The pose is unusual and intriguing. Really makes the viewer focus on her eyes. Nicely done!

Absolutely beautiful job! I think that the flavor that you added with the song lyrics really represents the whole emotion of this piece! A love the way that you light your pictures! The glow of light that surrounds Erithe is beautiful, it really pulls out the subtle reflections of her skin, giving it a soft, smooth look! Her facial expression is beautiful, soft and baring so much emotion. A mixture of happiness and sadness. Not sure if it wants to make me smile or make me cry. The hands came out beautifully and I absolutely love the hair and her eyes! The textures and variations of color in her hair are beautiful! I had to check out the original before going to see Emerald-Moon's version

I don't know..maybe its me...but it looks like her hair is flowing out of her head like blood..like someone killed her and she's looking back as the blood flows..weird...anyway..it's beautiful though! Must go look at the other one now!

her eyes are just so happy! her hair is a little bit vibrant for this picture, but i still very much like it. the backround is so pretty, with the soft stars and light.

My, but you color like *fast*, hehehe...
Makes me think of the 'light at the end of the tunnel'... soft yet luminous, the last step before definitively passing 'on the other side'.... And the grainyness (sp?) adds an interesting texture to the hair. The luminous circle in the background just look slightly odd though (its very left edge appears to be a little merged with the back of ehr hand).
Very soft and beautiful ambience.
